Every Thursday evening you can stop by and listen to Dottie Dodgion, playing her soulful jazz at The Inn at Spanish Bay. According to Answers.com, Dottie is a swinging and supportive drummer who is also a personable singer. She has managed  have a successful career as a female jazz musician, since the 1950's. She began singing with Charles Mingus and found the drums. She has worked with many well-known Jazz musicians such as Benny Goodman, Wild Bill Davidson, Al Cohn-Zoot Sims, Marian McPartland, Ruby Braff and others involved in the Bop, Swing, Dixieland and other mainstream jazz fields.

Senator Eugene Wright

An American jazz bassist, he is best known for his work as a member of the Dave Brubeck Quartet, in particular on the group's most famous album, Time Out (1959), with pianist Brubeck, drummer Joe Morello, and saxophonist Paul Desmond.
